A secret treehouse hiding in the woods
After failing to retire at the age of 26, Joe Allen found a new dream to accomplish. He met a new mentor and friend, and was inspired to build his own treehouse.
Along with two architects/friends Joe crafted an egg-shaped design, an organically formed house that integrates with the environment. While living in his car he was searching for the right tree for his organic new home. He founded the perfect one somewhere in the woods of Crownland. Even though this is government’s property; he did not wanted to stop building his design.
In August 2011 Joel and his girlfriend finally moved in their (incredibly) small egged-shapped house, the beginning of the Hemloft. He still was concerned about the danger of taking down the Hemloft, because of place where it was built. So he kept it a secret treehouse hiding in the woods. Nevertheless, he thought after a while it was time to share his masterpiece with the world. And with the money he got for publishing, he wants to build more ‘cool things’.
